The Spartan for list 2 is used to carry one of the 15 man tactical squads, an apothecary and the praetor.
Could possibly use the points for something else

4 chain fists on your grave wardens might be overkill. Since you've only used up one elite slot, you might think about splitting your quad mortars into 3 units to spread them out and give yourself some extra flexibility.

First of alll you have some minor faults in your lists: Grave Wardens are in Heavy Support Slot and not elite. But thank to "the reaping" you can have Legion Heavy support Squads as non compulsory troops choices, so no real problem there.

On to the lists:
I don't exacly see the hard hitting or mobile units in either list. Also, why has the preator of list one cataphractii armour (aprat from the awsome look, it is sub-par compared to the artifice/iron halo combo in any way.)
You have a Spartan and yet you leave out Death Shrouds, any special reason for this decison? They are realy good for their points especially with a transport.
If you don't play with an absolut high number of cover, you might also need a drop pod for the leviathan.

All in all, I would suggest to rework the lists and either drop out the spartan in favour of an regular or Proteus Land Raider for the wardens + either a drop pod for the levi or a siege breaker consul for the glowing wonder of phospex for your quad guns.
Or get rid of the quad gun alltogether and add some Death Shrouds for your Spartan to carry.

Thanks for the feedback! Alright, I've updated list 1 - including some of your suggestions. The reason the praetor is 1) it looks epic as hell and 2) I was under the assumption that units that are not equipped in cataphractii armour were unable to join units that are. I wanted the praetor to ride around with the grave wardens, then have them jump out, put some shots into some infantry and then charge them. Alternatively have them jump out and punch the gak out of an enemy vehicle, the 5 chainfists leaving no chance for the tank to survive.
However death shroud terminators are pretty nice units so I've switched out the grave wardens for some death shrouds (only 4 though), dropped a quad gun and given the levi a drop pod.
Oh and with the left over 5 points I chucked a combi-weapon on the spartan for gaks and giggles
