I've finished painting a model in nearly about 10 years?
All the new paints got me confused but I think I managed...

It's 90% done just leaving the base areas and some tidying up to do... Horns on helmet etc.

Comments / Thoughts on improvement would be great!
(I never knew painting flesh/skin was this hard :( )

PS. I apologize for the bad photo, just a quick photo taken with my phone...

I think you did an excellent job. I especially like the skin tones.

His left hand does seem a little redder though. Maybe get some flesh color there. Humans naturally focus on faces and hands.

Thanks for the comment!

The reason for the left hand being redder is because on the model that part of the arm is mutated so I wanted to make it look like it was pumping with blood.

Looks good to me! Especially if you take into account the 10 year absence from a brush!

Give it a nice base and it's good to go!

Yeah I need to work on the base but I don't have any of the texture products so I think the base will have to wait a day or two.
Thanks for the comment.

More C&C / advice / thougts on what I did wrong etc will be appreciated greatly!

I thought you might of had a particular reason to the tone change there. I just couldn't quite decide if gripping the chain should be how you did it or paler than the rest of the skin as in white knuckle moments. However, I think white knuckles might seem like he is expressing fear more than anticipation.

Your direction does make sense.

Looks nice.
Would have been better if you had like blood effects on the weapons (he is a Slaughter priest afterall XD)

And i think there is some frosting of super glue? Between some of the joints so maybe if you are going to multi-assemble parts you might want to watchout on the amount of glue applied.

I like the skin tone as well. Skin is always hard for me too

Great job on the model. It does need a little blood for the blood god though. Otherwise cracking job on the first of hopefully many more models.
