Definitely putting a Scatter Laser on one shoulder, but the kit only comes with one Scatter Laser, and I can't find another one made to fit a War Walker on eBay. So, what should I use on the other shoulder?

Thanks in advance!

I personally prefer Scatter Laser/Bright Lance. While it is not the most effective combination, it gives the War Walker a little bit more versatility.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.

How about a small plastic sign that reads "counts-as scatter laser"?

Depends on whether you're more likely to aim your War Walkers at Vechicles or MCs/Heavy Infantry. I run my two Wasps with Scatter Laser/Starcannon combo, so they are quite universal against the whole spectrum of non-vechicle units.

Bright Lance/EML is what you want in terms of versatility. Just don't take the Flak Missiles, as those make the EML far too expensive for its points.

Quite possibly the best idea I've heard all day!

Normally, you either have a ton of spare weapons (like me), or you just buy two boxes of three, one of them ends up as BL WW and the other as SL WW.

That sort of solves the problem of GW not including everything in their kits.

The weapons are the same as the ones from the Guardian heavy weapon platform. However, it should be possible to convert it to use the vehicle weapons instead (like the FW Wasp assault walker) as they are more common.
