a buddy of me bought some nids back in 5th. He played not more than 3 games with it, and stopped playing :(. I still regret to see the nids leave our gaming group. Now he asked me if i would like to have his nids. Offcourse, i said yes!

As i don't know alot of Nid listbuilding, and i'm not planning to make big investments moneywise in this army, what can i do with this lot to make a fun list to play friendly games. I'm willing to do a couple of cheap second hand upgrades, but not alot.

the lot is as follows:

the 5th edition starter box
-so 16 homogaunts and 16 thermagaunts
-3 warriors
-8 genestealers

upgraded with
-another genestealer box,
- a tervigon,
-a zoantrophe
-and a squad of gargoyles

Well that will make a fun 1k list.

Flyrants are popular if you want to spend the monies on one.... but it is funny using this kind of list against choas as they never get boons =D

just had a thought.. I should probably wait untill the summer, who knows what 8th will bring for tyranids, and i want to avoid buying a codex that needs replacing after 2 months.
