How do I get perspective on black Goff clothing and brown belts and straps?

I assume it is drybrushing a lighter color at the edge, please correct me if I am wrong.

If so, what Citadel color is used to drybrush against Abbadon Black and the Citadel Base Brown color? (I forget which)

There are a lot of things you can do. Drybrushing is certainly one of them, but it may not look as clean as other methods. It all depends on the look you want to end up with. Drybrushing would be good if you wanted a dirtier look. If you want smoother transitions you could glaze or wet blend.

Another method is to do multiple, very thin "glaze" coats in rising shades of grey. You put your first coat down at the transition to the more recessed areas of the clothing, and cover a little bit less area with each coat. You can do that as many times and with as many shades of grey as you want but the more and the thinner the coats the better the results will be. There is a very good guide for this that comes with the Vallejo Black and White set.

Sorry, I forgot about the leather. Leather is a lot more simple. You can just base it a nice brown, wash it and edge highlight it.
