I'm thinking of using some of the new Shadespire Skeletons (when they release) as Bloodletters for my Khorne Bloodbound army. What's the lore surrounding Khorne and undead. Any way to justify them?

I don't think there's any mention of Khornate Undead (nless you count Valkia or Krell), but I could see Khorne Undead as being somewhat akin to draugr, or something similar. Warriors and Champions who's skill in battle failed them, yet their hatred for their foes was such that they kept on fighting beyond the grave. Now they "live" on, a cruel mockery of their former lives - forced to fight for Khorne, yet forever denied the gift of daemonhood as punishment for their failures.

Bodies of a vicious enraged warband that was wiped out long ago. Their souls are claimed but the land has been stained forever. They roam the land in search of blood to restore themselves a-la Hellraiser.

A boon granted to your general by Khorn himself after he betrayed and slaughtered his comrades in the blood god's name: he is gifted with such skill of craft that he can flay his captives and shed every drop of blood, every scrap of flesh, every shred of life, but leave the warrior in place, driven mad by the pain into an unending frenzy.

Sacrificial altars to Khorn made of the bones of slain enemies. When soaked in blood, they concatenate into rough amalgamations in the shape of men and follow the warband on their march.

Five great tips to become a Khornite sorcerer that Nagash doesn't want you to know!

... I'm looking forward to using them as components for me tree revenants.

Legit ideas!!! I love the idea of an altar of bones, skulls and spirits that come to life when spattered with blood.

Oh man. I have to make a Khornate War Altar from bones and have a Slaughterpriest or something on top.

Hmm that was an actual mechanic long ago actually.. Though that may have been Rogue Trader's daemon one. Though they could be resurrected if they fought well enough.

In WHFB End Times Tyrion, the Avatar of Khaine, called upon the skeletons of Elves that died with the heat of battle in their hearts to fight for him but couldn't raise Elves that died peacefully.

I imagine it wouldn't be unwarranted for Khorne to do something similar.
