I've heard that if you use a mix of green color and watered down PVA you get a cool slime effect for bases. Or color with a lot of varnish. Do you guys know if this is true?

I did that many years ago on a vignette I did many years ago. It works pretty well if you use green ink instead of a wash or shade. I used it for a toxic waste spill.

PVA can create a great wet slime/mud effect once dry, but remember that it doesn't stick to plastic very well.
