Which legion would of been more likely to use a Shadowsword? Ultramarines Imperial Fists or World Eaters?

Fists, I say, due to the whole siege prevalence.
Then Ultramarines.
Then World Eaters.

However, all Legions had Shadowswords to field.

Ultrmarines more but the world eaters had them too.

Thr ultramrines where more combined arms than the world eaters.

Imperial fists defenitely as that is a very good self propelled seige weapon to provide heavy firepower at storng points plus they mantained armour and etc.

Despite the world eaters prevalence for CC they needed heavy anti tank and armoured support. They may be more likely to be a Terran crew potentialy.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

The World Eaters had quite a lot of tanks, and they preferred the heavy types over the lighter Predators. Their usual battle doctrine was to launch a first wave of fast infantry and follow up success with a second wave of heavy armor and terminators. In fact, they even had an mutual alliance with a Titan Legion and the tech priests of the legion maintained and refitted the World Eater's armored vehicles.

That being said, a Shadowsword doesn't feel like a World Eater's sort of tank - too stand-offish and not aggressive enough. I wouldn't bat an eye at seeing it on the table, but I would think that the other legions listed would be more likely to field one.

Variety is the spice of life and all, but if you're going to do the shadowsword thing in a truly fluffy way you'll only use it in matches against Titans as part of a solar auxillia or cults/militia list.
The fluff on the shadowsword is pretty consistent about its titan-hunting battlefield role.

There is a mention of solar auxillia using them against traitor titan legions with huge losses and also as an artillery peice against standing structures (primus redoubt?) so a loyalist seige breaker specialist legion is probably as close to 'fluffy' as it's going to get i think.

It's worth remembering every legion has at least one of everything; and it could even have been found with a dead crew by your marines during an extended conflict (waste not want not etc)

All of the legions would have had access to shadowswords but undeniably the fluffier is iron warriors because old perty pimped one up as his own personal ride.
