I?ve been a 40k fan for quite a while and have collected several large armies. My newest project has been a massive army of Iron Warriors Chaos Marines. Unfortunately there has been a blunder on my housing lease for the summer (I?m a college student) and I have to cough up roughly $700 dollars for this summer so that I would have a place to live next semester, also that money would keep my stuff from being moved to the side of the street while I?m away from campus for the summer. So as you can see, I?m pretty desperate. I?ve decided that I will raise the money that I need by selling off the latest additions I?ve made to my GW collection. I?ve been painting models for about 5 years, I?m not a art major but I?m pretty good at it but don?t take my word for it, judge for yourselves.

Here?s a couple of notes for each of the items below:

Typhus & Icon Bearer ? A Beautiful master-class paintjob on Typhus, Bearer would be a throw-in

Chaos/IW Lords ? Both painted at the same time, high quality finish with multiple highlights and washes

Aspiring Champions ? Painted as a lot, weapon bitz for each are available (wasn?t sure what to put on them at the time)

Iron Warrior Marines ? Same as above, dry/wet brushing, highlights, washes, the works ? backpacks and weapons are in a baggy (once again wasn?t sure what was on them)

Obliterators ? Who doesn?t love a IW army with 9 obliterators? These guys took an huge chunk of time to paint, extra attention went to multiple highlights and washes. I?ll really miss these monsters.

Chaos Rhino ? Painted as a novelty idea but was completed to very high standards

Basilisk ? Must have for Iron Warrior armies, also top quality

Dreadnought ? Balanced perfectly so it does not require a base per se, quality paint job

Defiler ? Center piece of the army, claws are pose-able as seen in pictures. Many hours went into painting this kid. I left out the mud splashes as I believed that the iron warriors were capable of keeping this behemoth clean.

*note* all vehicles including obliterators were given sealant coating to protect the paint job as well as bring out details.


I?d also like to note that the prices for these painted miniatures are not low despite by desperate situation. I believe the current pricing of the painted minis are adequate to justify the immense amount of work that has gone into each mini. The vast majority of these minis are painted to a quality which is on par to many contracting studios which paint miniatures at much higher rates than what I have accounted for in these prices.

I hate inflexible prices, so all of the items listed above are negotiable to a degree. To be honest, the non-painted/nib stuff I could care less about but the models with quality paint jobs is a different story so please apply common sense when making a offer for them

PS ? Did some math on all the CSM models, as per WYSIWYG rules, the CSM models comes up to be around 3800-3900pts. With even a little wargear it can be easily pushed above 4000pts. I recognize that 4000pts is a little over kill, but if anyone is willing to make a offer on the entire lot of CSMs or even a majority of them, I?d be happy to talk large discounts.
