Hello! As you can see from my join date I have been flirting with the idea of playing Warhammer 40,000 for a while, but now is the time!

I am currently assembling a Tau force and my roommate is building Grey Knights. We figured with a new edition about to drop this would be a good time to finally pull the trigger.

I think this might be the best time to start.

Welcome to the hobby!

Or, if you prefer, the Hhhobby.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Welcome mad turkey! Hope you enjoy yourself. I'm actually just on the verge of coming back after years of not playing, and it seems like there is interesting stuff on the horizon for the hobby.

Welcome! From what I can tell from the new edition, there's going to be a big focus on command points. If you read the warhammer community article on battle forged armies, you get command points from how you put together your army. I think a good tip is to bring enough troop choices. Good luck with your army!
