I'm trying to go for the classic vampires and skeletons undead feel, let me know what you think.

Dire wolves chase down fast stuff, ghoul king keeps the skeletons in line and does magic, mannfred does what mannfred does.

I went for spear skeletons cause when I get bigger units I gather they're better

Ring of Immortality was FAQed to require reinforcement points unfortunately so is now almost totally worthless.

I've heard Hexwraiths are pretty good for what you'd use Dire wolves for but I'm going to assume they probably cost a lot more points.
Spear skellies are awesome. In units of 30+, with a Wight King there buffing them, they can get pretty nuts.
Manfred is glorious, 'nough said.
The Ghoul King seems a little out of place as most of his abilities are geared toward helping a Ghouls army. The magic is nice but, without reinforcement points to spend on summoning those Ghouls with his special spell, he's only got the two universal spells (which admittedly are useful). A Wight King may fit better, to spruce up those skellies. That said, magic is always good, especially putting Mystic shield on those skellies to be even harder to kill, so totally up to you.

And yeah, what Wayniac said, it's a shame cos it's an awesome artefact. The Cursed Book or the Tomb Blade sound like pretty epic Artefacts to take instead.

Cool list, would look cool on the table too.

The ghoul king is there cause he's the cheapest hero and I had 100pts left. I've learnt heroes are pretty key to death and he seemed cheap and effective.

The book may be the one to go for then, sucks about the ring, you'd think it's more of an ability than summoning, but I guess you don't want people reviving vampires on zombie dragons
