Hey everyone! So I've got my first game of 40k in over 12 years and I've thrown together the below list. It's a friendly game against a friend's army of Space Marines. He's an old dog at this too so will be rusty and I think it's mostly infantry, bikes and maybe a dreadnought, no tanks or flyers. Now we're not going to be that strict on detachments or formations or whatever, both time last of us played was 3rd Edition! So list is as follows

Tau Commander - Ion Blaster, Plasma Rifle, Iridium Suit, Puretide Engram, Shield Generator - 192pts

6 Stealth suits(probably in 2 teams?) - Shas'vre, 4 burst cannon, 2 fusion blaster, target lock, markerlight - 210pts

12 Firewarriors - w/ Devilfish, Shas'ui - 198pts

3 Crisis suits - shas'vre, twin linked plasma rifles x3, ion blaster x1, fusion blaster x2 - 181pts

3 Crisis suits - shas'vre, twin linked missiles x3, shas'vre, target lock x2, drone controller, 6 missile drones 214pts

That's 995pts altogether, well I'm pretty sure it is. The only changes I've been thinking of making is removing the devilfish, as I don't want to be moving that much anyway, and throwing in some kroot instead to help tie up whatever comes rushing towards me.

Also, I am right thinking the crisis team with twin linked plasmas and an extra weapon can fire both in the same shooting phase right? Crisis suits come stock with multi-trackers, and a twin linked gun counts as a single gun(but counts as two hard points). Cheers for any feedback. I don't have many more models to put in but if anyone has something they'd recommend getting let me know as I'll probably be playing 1000pt games for a while with friends.
