Even though reports will surely be posted in the games' threads too I guess a central thread isnt a bad idea as it saves time and hassle to look for the newest info

So looking forward to this!

I've got a ticket for tomorrow, but may tag along today as well, seeing as I've booked a hotel room for tonight.

Currently hunting the Intertubes for prices for my Carey Sharey Group. Man have I got a lot of requests to address!

Not keen on the Thunderhawk, the sloped wings are a bit odd and the tail fin just breaks with the design we have known for so long.

I wasn't likely to buy a £400 resin model anyway so no big loss,

Mainly just waiting for the bad news that 30K is also getting the AoS treatment like 40K,

Not to put a crimp in the festivities, but it's been confirmed by Tony Cotteril in the FW Seminar that Alan Bligh has passed away.

He'll be hugely missed.

That is very sad news. Had he been ill? As he was no age by any means. This will be a tough event for the FW team to get through.

..aww

Sad news, he was a great guy just to chat to.

This is, BTW, part of the reason for some of the delays with regards to some of the IA books.

Really sad news about Alan. Never got to meet him unfortunately but he was a great writer and really nice guy by all accounts.

Okay, 7th for Age of Darkness confirmed. Why did they say otherwise at the february event...? Well, good news I guess, most should be okay with it...

Soon to be released (Photo: Battle Bunnies)

So we -don't- seek to be getting 40k custodes rules then, if the indexes are marines and guard?

Also Mechanicus forge world is delayed until they re-do cryaxus apparently.

Age of darkness rulebook = full on win. I'd come to expect the opposite so massive surprise. When can I order one, will be moving my focus across onto 30K.

Custodes terminators = that talons of the emperor box a brought the other month will now become a full on 30K army.

Alan passing, really sad. He has been a massive part of forge world for many years. About two years ago I was up Warhammer world and had a 10 minute chat with him in bugmans, really nice guy, he was so passionate about his work.

Dawn of war miniatures, odd that there forge world but good to see. Shame the new game doesn't look that promising. At least the miniature isn't doing a jumping backflip attack!

The Age of Darkness rulebook will sure go a long way towards heading off the knee-jerk rage statements about "that damn 8th edition making all my Forgeworld stuff irrelevant!"

Prepare for instead "I wish they'd just rip the band-aid off, forge world are holding Heresy 8th an unknown distance over my head like the sword of Damocles".
