So with the plethora of information coming out has there been any mention of the DKoK, other than they will be in the FW Index?

Also, where has the grenadier squad gone from FW's website?

Grenadiers are in there at least. Maybe they are redoing the models? Or the mould is screwed and being retooled. Or, worst situation, they are gone for good.

No mention as of now apart from the table of contents in this book: https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Imperial-Armour-Index-Astra-Militarum-2017. These are the special units you can expect, with the other ones being normal Astra Militarum units probably.

It seems as if the Grenadier's mold has broken and is being repaired.

I just trying to figure whether I can replicate the list from Fall of Orpheus, which if I remember rightly was primarily grenadiers.

This will be my 8th Ed treat to myself as I have a few unassembled DKoK grenadier squads so its a start.

Considering that some detachments primarily consist of elites, you will most likely (barring any "you must take X amount of Infantry Squads to take Z Grenadier Squads, which would be bizarre) be able to no matter if they are troops or elites.

I am tempted to steal some dkok rules if it turns out that the Mars Alpha Vanquisher is the only one to have a co-axial stubber, as I own one of those. I guess my Cold one Rough Riders would also make good Death Riders.

I guess we'll see. I'll buy the book anyway as I fully intend to put my DKoK collection to use.

Yeah I got a hold of FW about 6 weeks ago and they said that the molds to the grenadiers as well as a few other imperial guard units are being remade. So the DKoK is definitely going to be in 8th edition.
