I contacted Ephrael on 5/30/17 in regards to the FW Thousand Sons upgrades. They told me they had 60 helmets and torsos, and asked for $1 per item along with $5 for shipping. I requested 20 helmets and torsos, and sent payment via PayPal on 6/01/17.

Ephrael stated they received payment and said they would ship the items Friday, along with providing a tracking number. I have not received a tracking number, items, or any further contact from Ephrael despite my repeated attempts to do so.

I cannot request a return from PayPal due to an error on my part. I thought I sent payment as Goods or Services, but sent it as Friends or family instead. I know I'm not likely to receive a refund, but I still feel others should be wary when dealing with this user.

In my experience, if you call Paypal, claim ignorance and promise never to do it again, they'll pretty frequently refund your money. I don't know if it works more than once, but it's worth a shot.

I tried to do business with him for the exact same type of transaction! Same goods and everything, and I have yet to hear back from him.

Update: Messaged the user to see if they can get back to me with a tracking number as I also order TS upgrades from them. Will update this thread with more information.

I, too, purchased goods from ephrael recently. I bought some stuff on 5/20 and he said he would ship them asap and provide tracking number right away. I asked for two updates on 5/24 and 5/25 asking if he shipped and if there was a number, he replied on 5/26 stating he was very busy with work and would ship tomorrow (5/27). On 6/2 I asked for a tracking number again. On 6/5 he sent me a tracking number finally. I received goods on the 6th or 7th I can't remember and he sent what we agreed upon. Either the dude is seriously busy or just lazy/slow, but give him a chance as he did pull through in the end.

That's somewhat reassuring. Thanks for filling us in! I'l hold out hope considering my purchase isn't by any means time-sensitive.

I am also in the group of folks he has potentially ripped off. He has been on the site off and on fairly regularly and was even on today but has made no effort to make contact or respond to pm. At this point I am assuming he means to cheat us. No one is too busy to simply drop a message saying they need more time or what not. In my case he has received the trade goods and monetary difference and promised to ship, essentially the same story given to the others here and then disappeared. I am not sure if I should start another transaction report or just piggy back here. Thanks.

I was just about to post something about this. I purchased a number of Genestealers and have not received a response to multiple PM's and emails. Looks like my suspicions were correct and I've been ripped off.

If you paid by PayPal, Toraman, you can easily file a claim. To the OP, even if you sent as a Friends and Family payment, calling PayPal may resolve it. It's worth trying for sure! You can even point them to this thread as evidence that he's not shipping.

Are you Mods allowed to lock his trade thread to prevent anyone else from getting scammed?

I have been extremely busy but I did send a reply to each and every pm I've received.

I can confirm he has made contact tonight.

He has contacted me as well. I have asked for a refund and expressed my dissatisfaction with the whole thing.

Refund requested as well. Not happy at all that both options have to "wait" until next weekend but at least there will be resolution.

Same here per all posts in regards to no product and reply yesterday, only my transaction was done through bartertown. Sounds like ephrael has some work to do. Here's my report post on bartertown:

its Saturday, about 2023 and have not heard from him yet, I am 1-2 hours behind his time.

I messaged him this morning. He indicated a refund would be sent Friday, but that hasn't occurred.

Messaged him just now; have not received items or any indication that they have been shipped as of yet.

As an update : Refund was not submitted on Friday as promised. Escalated to Paypal, but don't expect anything to successfully come from this seller.

He has been on and off, but did not make good his promise of the weekend at least to me. Not sure if he actually delivered for anyone else.

I haven't received anything from ephrael. No reply, no refund, no product. I've had a paypal dispute with him for a while now, and his deadline is June 30th per paypal. Tick Tock ephrael.

I have little reason to believe that he is going to make good on any of his promises. though checking the laws in his state, and federal mail fraud laws, there is plenty to call the local authorities and have charges pressed, so not a total loss.

Ephrael still has made no attempt to communicate or resolve the issue.

I somehow completely missed this TR. I updated his two most recent sales threads with notifications.

Goods never arrived; case was escalated to Paypal in an attempt to get a refund.

Keeping this alive and in view, he still lingers on the site and dont want anyone else being taken, do not trade, sell, or buy from him.

Had my purchase refunded by PayPal. Do not purchase from this seller.

he has been logging in again, so be careful folks that he is not out to scam more folks.

Dakka is more restrictive about what they allow to be posted but, at Bartertown, there is a bit more allowed.

For those interested, I should note that he has been banned on Bartertown until his open issues are handled. Then, and only then, we'll reconsider allowing him back on the site.
