Hello!

I'm looking to repair / re-model my Necron Ghost Ark's broken flashers which unfortunately have snapped supporting struts (the 'V' shaped portion) and I'm finding the process monumentally difficult. Has anyone here ever found success in this endeavor or re-modeled to circumvent the problem in an aesthetically pleasing fashion?

Thanks in advance for any help!

OK, by 'flashers' what are you talking about? I am guessing the guns that poke out the side?

The mounts for those suck. They are a prime example of GW forgetting this is a GAME and someone will be handling these models often so they need to be a little more robust than a shelf queen art mini.

I would just cut them all out and replace all together.

Simple solution would be some green stuff blobs between the guns and the ribs. Done as cleanly as you can and painted black. This is mostly hidden by the ribs and should look OK if done right.

Super fancy would be drilling through the ribs and the guns and running a long brass rod through the battery. This would look the best and be the strongest, but a bit of a pain.

Gah, I didn't notice that it autocorrected "flayers".

Good advice there, I'll give that a whirl!

Oh, Autocorrect, makes sense. I thought it was a cultural thing. you know how a truck is a lorie and a car trunk is a boot, and a wrench is a spanner. I thought that maybe a raygun was a flasher over there.

A little disappointing. LOL!

Good luck fixing them! I bet people would like to see pictures or how to's when you get done.

Thanks! I'll do that. I've got two Arks to fix, so I'll probably try both approaches.
