Subject: Is the an Ork Warboss that's the equivalent of Grimgor Ironhide?

I've searched and I think the closest is Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka. Is this correct? He seems to have a much different upbringing instead of emerging and being the best, he instead was defeated and carried his brains until he was fitted with abetter body.
Is this the best Orks have to offer? Or is there someone closer to Grimgor?

There is only one grimgor and only ever will be one. Sorry, also I think grimgor met up with the warriors of chaos head hunter wolf kin? Or what ever his name was.
At a chaos dwarf hold he and his retune where threw into a pit with black orks. He submitted to the biggest meanest one and he laughed at him then walked away. When they released the orks they started to butcher all the dwarfs.
And in end times as a recall to this they bow to grimgor after summoning him and he laughs at them and marches off to butcher.

While the biggest ork presently in 40K , Ghazzy is feared for his ability to mobilize and deploy billions of orks with srrategic and tactical acumen on par with the most brilliant military minds the Imperium has to offer.
tlr Ghazzy is a smart ork that thinks ahead instead of bull rushing at the head of a green tide.

Physically yes. However, his mental acumen is entirely his own. Unlocked by a bullet to the brain, but his nonetheless.

Teleporting isn't one of his power nor is it built into his armour. It's his big mek, orkimedes, that has perfected that tek. Ghazzy powers given to him by Gork and Mork is the ability to sense concentrations of orks across galactic distances along with the abilities to see, hear and speak to them intantaneously in real time (puts entire astropath choirs to shame). Meanwhile orkimedes announced he's near done perfecting his telyporta to be abe to send orks across galactic distances intantaneously which will put orks on par with the Old Ones when it comes to getting across the galaxy. But aside from that only thing cyborky about Ghazzy is his adamantium skull and about 1/3 his brain.

Ghazzy and Grimgor are not equivalents. Ghazzy is a genius focused on conquest, while Grimgor is the deadliest warrior of his entire race. Those two things are not the same thing.

Think of something clever to say. |

I recall them saying multiple times he was about to be killed then disappearing and reappearing somehwere else.
My guess they put necron bits in his head.

Ghazzy is no slouch in combat though. Can't be the prophet of Gork and Mork without being able to throw down with the best of them.

Ghazzy currently is the the most famous of them all and is one with the biggest Waaagh!.
I think a true equivalent to Grimgor would be Grukk Facerippa. Powerful as hell (he destroyed a drop pod singlehandedly with the space marines in it) and he is (like Grimgor) convinced he is the best of the best.
He was thought killed in an "accident", leaving his Big Mek Mogrok to lead the now splintered Waaagh!.
He survived.
EDIT:
oh... and he looks like this...

@Ogrechubbs
Those are the moments that are evidence that not only does Gork and Mork exist but they picked Ghazzy as a favourite and will intervene on his behalf. It's happened twice iirc now where he's about to meet his death and the gods will zap him away deus ex machina style.
They gave him a mission - to raise the WAAAAGH! energy in the galaxy high enough so that Gork and Mork can tear themselves out of the warp and begin Ragnorork in real space. It's not Ghazzy that will unite the race, it's their gods that will. He's creating perpetual battle zones of attrition so far as they will continue raging on while he starts up others. Last couple won't need to be against endless numbers like his first two raging on against Imperium on Armageddon and Tyrants on Octaria.
My prediction is that his next move will be to unite the two ork kingdoms north of the Eye and begin a war against chaos. After that he needs only a few more with Necrons being yet another race that can commit to attrition. Again last two won't need to last so long before the gods come out.

Wouldn't any of the Prime Orks be superior to Ghazz or Grim, I never read the Beast series but thats the impression I get when I hear most people mention them.

They are definitely superior. No modern or fantasy ork would stand a chance against any of them.

Ghazz is actually named after the prime ork who almost enslaved the universe, according to the beast arises book series. Also, The prime orks are the reason the imperial fists no longer exist.
