The issue is in the title. Mine is proving too front heavy to stay on. What's more, it has a slight gap in the hull that is most prominent at the base socket. I'm worried that this gap is preventing the ball joint fitting into the socket properly, hence why the ship falling off.

Anyone got any suggestions? I can upload a pic if it helps.

I'd guess so. Either brass/copper tubing or a piece of laminate rod or something.

Orrrrr...make some huge scenic base (not a fan of these really) to mount it on (i.e. it's flying just over a huge ruin which conveniently hooks to the base of the ship somehow).
