Can I use Volkite Culverins in both 40k and 30k Tactical Squads?

Can I replace boltguns with Volkite chargers in tactical squads in both 30k and 40k?

Usually, I only collect and paint Warhammer models, so I have only the roughest idea of what is legal or not, with no idea about FW stuff. However, whilst I like to make unique conversions and the like, I prefer them to be 'legal' so that if I ever decide to start playing, I've not got a completely unplayable army.

No, you cannot. Volkite isn't a thing in 40k.
(Unless something is changed in a future FW book)

Only 1 unit can take volkites in 40k

Magos Dominus for Ad Mech is the only model I am aware of for CHOOM in 40k. Wouldn't surprise me if Primaris get it at some point.

Tartaros terminator sergeant can take one. Rules seem a bit off from before though. Went from assault to heavy.
