Okay so the strategy is simple the IG squads in front provide cover for the Heavy support/razorbacks and provide CC screening by deploying 3-5" ahead of the dev squads Razorbacks go behind the dev squads. IG squads have flamers to help act as a speed bump against CC.

I hate to encourage the use of conscripts but if the guardsman are just screens why not use conscripts?

Also a power sword on a captain in a gunline? fair enough if its just for rule of cool.

If you can get 2 more HQs you can get 2 more command points using the heavy support detachments

I thought about conscripts but then i realized they aren't that much cheaper and with regular IG i can throw lascannons on them and have them fire at any vehicles/transports.
