I run a black legion army and tend to use cult switch out cult troops as fun flavor adds to an army. Does anyone else here tend to use undivided troops with specialized god secondary detachments often? I just find it fun to be able to throw in rubrics one days, plagues the next, and berzerkers the next and still be fluffy. The reason I ask is almost everyone I hear on here seems to speak as if they only play "purish" cult builds.

I run Red Corsairs and the only Cult troop I don't use is Thousand Sons. In 7th I bounced between Slannesh and Nurgle Lords for the Troops change, went to a Death Guard Detachment during Traitor Legions for Relentless buffs and a minimum CAD of Corsairs with Huron as my Primary.

Now in 8th, I'll grab whatever Legion Troops I feel like taking since Huron tends to be elsewhere with elite choice units. Both Noise Marines and Plagues are usually in such small squads that morale isn't a big deal. I'll only avoid Berzerkers being World Eaters because Hurons ability does genuinely support them and they have to be Red Corsairs to do so. But it's not like I need to take a Detachment of Death Guard to take some Bloat Drones. They just get slapped into the army along with everything else, but I just run them more independently than my main force.
