finally found the motivation to get off my AoBR models. These were the second models I painted back when I restarted gaming in 2009 and have been loitering ever since.

This is what they looked like initially

Anyway went for a total repaint, started about the time 7th came out, and abandoned shortly after when I read the 7th rulebook.

Warboss, Gobfink, now looks like this



Still not winning any prizes but hopefully somewhat better

Colours are mostly Vallejo, the silver is GW as are the rust effects but otherwise its mostly Tan Earth & Desert Yellow for the base colours, bone & chocolate brown for camo. Skin is Black Green highlighted Flat Green, the final highlight is magnolia emulsion...

Fun models these, why they have never been re-released is beyond me.

Bases are pretty plain, but thats the way I like them, this lot are meant to be a small Blood Axe clan as a raiding/insurgency force

The AoBR orcs themselves are still being worked on, but should look like these guys when finished
