I am considering converting windriders into shining spears. I have made a laser lance from brass rod and spare gun parts before for an autarch, but as I may be making a load of shining spears, I would rather just buy some lance bits.

I have tried anvil industry, spellcrow, forgeworld, north star, puppets war, victoria miniatures, zinge, ... and I can't find any lance bits for sale.

I have also tried some bits shops. The ironstrider laser lance looks OK, but nowhere has it in stock.

I guess I could try making one out of bits and casting my own from it. This sounds a bit much like hard work.

Before I found some of the metals, I was aiming to use some Dark Eldar bits - I don't know which ones they were, I stumbled onto them on ebay. Was going to combine some of their slender blasters with some spears, etc.

There are some "alternate" ways to get them. Another option is to build a sheath down the side of the jetbike nose (as if they had a storage sheath for when they're not using the lance.

I tried to even bash the old metal bodies onto mine, but failed - they don't reach the handles and arch their backs oddly - but they look useable for now.
