new to the forums and stretching my legs a bit.

I've recently come back to Warhammer 40k due to the new 8th edition rules and I've started an Apostles of Contagion (Death Guard) army. As it stands I have 2 x Land Raider Mk III kits which I've never built, they've been sat on my shelf for more years than I care to count.

I've attempted to make use of the search function and come up dry, I've also attempted to locate guides on google to no avail. I did find the Chapter House kit which I attempted to obtain but it seems as though they're no longer trading and Forge World don't produce stand alone conversion kits. As a result of this I'm now back at square one and utterly bewildered.

I'm still fixed on the idea of fielding Mk II's over the Mk III's as I feel these are far more befitting of a Chaos force but I'm now a little out of depth. From what I can tell the two key differences are the side plates/sponson's and the top plate/HB mounting.

Would anyone by chance have a link to a step by step guide or be able to provide the "idiots" guide to undertaking such a conversion? Or does anyone have any templates to assist in the production process?

I greatly appreciate the communities assistance and I look forward involving myself with the community in the future.

I've been thinking about doing something like this. I was planning on getting some treads from Blood and Skulls Industry for the old school look.

The sponsons are the big issue, since I was going to order from Blood and Skulls I was thinking of their sponsons plus some plasticard to extend it over the second hatch area on the land raider.
