I love the Khorne Beserkers, I play casually and have been running pretty much only Berserkers and Kharn. But now I want to know how I should run them properly as I typically only play with my friend whom plays Tau, meaning I don't win to often... or ever. I planned on picking up a couple rhinos to get them across the battle field safely, but is this the right choice here? I have two Helbrutes and a Forgefiends at my disposal as well, assuming those are good to run with em.

Bezerkers are only as good as the box that carries them into battle. Rhinos are great this edition, the drop pods are pretty good as well, and the land raider is always lovely. You're on the right track, grab some Rhinos and get very familiar with transport rules.

I've had good luck with 15 Berzerkers all with
Chainaxes. But the unit has problems against certain armies. Their usefulness is limited by the support you can give them unless your opponent is being very aggressive on deployment. Personally, I run Red Corsairs so two of the big problems are actually solved. They lose a lot of models to Morale and they don't move all that fast. Warptime and Huron's buff fixes both of those problems. If you don't play Corsairs then you should play around with your HQs to find what works. Apostle and Sorcerer maybe. I can promise you, it's not Kharn. He is underwhelming this edition.

Alternatively, get a Forgeworld Kharbidys or Dreadclaw. Chaos is limited in their options for Pods but these two do their job. The Kharbydis holds 20 models so if you want to stay true to World Eaters, it might be just the right investment.

I agree about Kharn, he is overpriced right now. I mean look at Zhufor: only slightly more expensive than a Terminator Lord while being vastly superior in wounds, strength, attacks, utility, and weapon loadout. Kharn is WAY more points than a basic lord. He's actually almost the same cost as a Juggerlord with a Combi-Melta and Power Fist, with the Juggerlord being superior in speed and toughness. GW knows Kharn is killy but they didn't make him worth his points even if he brutally murders whatever he touches.

Agree and disagree.

Kharn costs a little much, but is not way over costed for being able to brutally murder anything he manages to stumble upon.

Also, flat reroll is WAY better than reroll 1s

While they can absolutely bring the pain, don't expect them to last that long with enemies being able to fall back then focus fire them. They already have enough of a reputation to make a vehicle a good idea as well, a land raider is even worthy of consideration. Cheap enough you won't mind though the chainaxes, while cheap, aren't really worth the extra point in most situations.
