Hello all

I have played against this once and seen a few battle reports with this in, all the times in seen it it has done alot of damage. Has anyone got any good tips to taking this out? I know it costs quite abit to field and only had a small range compared to most tau, but don't think this can be ignored all game. My friend has purchased one so thinking I'll be seeing this more often.

Have you seen the overwatch it's rough saw a battle he killed a died in overwatch

The y'varha is a beast no doubt about it. I'd say lascannons or equivalent would work.

Charging it is rough since its flamer is so powerful but remember is you are more than 8" away the flamer can't fire overwatch. Get a chaff unit in and then the heavy hitters. Just beware if you don't kill it, it can fall back and still roast you.

I was thinking lascannons as a good option, but also like the missile launcher for the flexibility.

So I have most the tools a BA player has apart from a stormraven, libby dread and land speeders (and any special characters as I'm a flesh tearers player) I haven't put a list together yet just looking for any ideas or first hand experience
