As a fellow Chaos Player and Daemons player who has left he game for an extended period (The second time) Im curious about how Chaos and Daemons are doing right now in the new edition and wondering if anyone can give a general overview on how the army is, competitively, and for fun.

I recently found myself in a sticky situation having to take care of my mother and father during my fathers Chemo-therapy and recovery, but am itching to know if the new edition is a welcomed change, or if I should perhaps wait a while longer before coming back to the hobby. Having sold much of my plastic crack I'm also wondering if anything meta has made things like Rhinos and Thousand Sons in particular, more inviting and usable.
