Subject: Alternate models for Engineseers/Tech Priest?

Paying $35 for an Engineseer/Tech Priest just hurts my soul to much for me to justify it. Anyone know of some cheaper alternatives I could look into? My IG are DKoK models so I would like something that has a face mask/cover face to fit in a bit with the whole toxic death world theme.

This guy makes a whole bunch of cool alternative models a bit cheaper than GW. Some are more 'pinup' and boobie but not all.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/262916288614

Why bother with EBay?
Search for "Techpriest Enginseer 2" on the GW site. $11.50.

Oh, that's nice. I had thought they stopped producing them.

You could acquire one of these

Then cover the face with bionics or even just smooth it over with some green stuff for a spacesuit-like visor.

Kit bashing is probably the easiest, bits sites can hook you up if you don't want to buy a whole box for your conversion.
Wargames Exculusive have some cool tech priests, Warmachine also has some steam punk cyborgs for you to check out.
Reaper has all sorts of odd figures you can use, search for key words like cyborg or steam punk.

You're welcome. They used to have the other one available as well, but he sold through last year.
He will be metal though.

I don't mind at all if he's metal. Right now I think I'll pick him up and the covered chest version of the Wargames Exculusive female tech priest.
Really a shame that Wargames Exculusive has an obsession with fake beach ball breasts, the sculpting is absolutely upper tier and I would likely buy a ton of their models if they were not all so poorly "augmented" and proud of the fact apparently.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Vonjankmon, that just makes me laugh.. good point on the beach-ball augment-o-boobs.. reminds me of when I was in second life for a while, and I had the constant habit of glancing over the "photo-realistic" avatar skins for women and looking for the glaringly present boob-job-lines across the top of the breast from where the flesh actually creases slightly with augment-o-boobs.
