Hello there,

I'm a brand new 40k player looking to start a nid army for competitive tournament play.

Ive drawn up two lists based on what I think is strong/competitive. I'd ideally like this as an all comers type list. Would be great if you guys can review both lists and get back to me with any feedback. As stated above I'm fairly new to 40k and have only played a handful of games using friends models.

Any advice for you seasoned players?

Why so many mawlocs ?

I prefer list one but i feel like swarmlord + tyrannocyte is too expensive...

Have you tried exocrines ? By far our best unit IMO, especially next to a malanthrope.

This way you have fire support, objectives holder and CC. Moreover, malanthrope can protect your 60 genestealers if you go second !

In list 1: Are you putting 20 stealers in the pod? I guess you ca try a 1-2 punch from slingshotting the guys who start normal and use a CP to get your charge from the back.

I personally don't like mawlocks at all but they sort of fit your list. Back field disruptions. He will not have long to deal with all of this.

Overall list 1 is better. The biovores will have no synapse to play with.
