I've tossed a dataslate on my blog for a scratch build I'll be pursuing in the near future - as kind of center piece for my Nurgle inspired Chaos Space Marine warband. Was wondering what you guys think would be a fair power cost?

In short:

+It's using the Baneblade stat line and degradation profile
+It has an increased BS of 3+ to better match marines
+It can carry 15 <Heretic Astartes> models

It has no fancy weapons. It has predominantly short ranged weapons - aimed at breaking a siege line or trenchworks. It's quite lightly gunned for a super heavy, as its really half transport.

The Baneblade line seems to range around 26-31 or so. A land raider by comparison is 19. I'd like to come up with a reasonable number and then add 2-3 power just for the fact that it's a homebrew (a minor penalty if you will, for using a scratch build vehicle). Will only be played amongst friends in scenarios and narrative games. I don't have the forgeworld indexes so I've no real idea what the cost of those units are power-wise. At a glance I feel 30-32 is probably reasonable. Thoughts?

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

This seems like a bigger version of the Plague burst crawler that's coming out in a month or so.

As for the power level? Well it's a Baneblade with the fire power of a Vindicator and a transport capacity, so I'd go with 22 PL, 25 if you want to add a bit because it's a homebrew.
