Reviewing the profile for the Deff Dread. It says

"Every time this model fights, it can make 1 additional attack for every dread klaw"

I am assuming that the "extra attack" characteristic is NOT built into the basic profile? So the Deff Dread would get base 2A + 4A for x4 Klaws?

Correct. And since the extra attacks are not locked to a specific weapon like the Chainsword's you can attack with the klaws.

AFAIK no wargear modifications are baked into the profile anymore.

So x6 attacks, yes.
