Working on a new Greenskins list to mess with. Basically trying to use this as my test army for other lists to see how well they can handle hordes. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Standard Ork Strategy- GET ‘EM!!!! Not a whole lot in the way of toys. Just a couple big mobs, 2 smaller mobs in trukks, and then one trukk with nobz boss and big mek which should just about delete anything they run into. Klaws everywhere to really turn up the hurt once I hit CC.

Only other thought was to drop a few boys from the larger squads and add a weirdboy for da’ jump.

Nice, I'd cut the big shootas, rokkits and a mob of 12 boyz in order to add 2x5 tankbustas plus a couple of bomb squigs that ride in the same trukk.

I'd also drop the pks in the nobz unit and replace them with big choppas, pk only for the warboss.

I`m a fan of rokkits, but since the Pikk Ups will get all the anti tank i would also skip them.
Maybe even change 2 trukks into one battle wagon and give the Mek a bike to keep up with the vehicles.
That way he can shield all vecicles and maybe also 1-2 of the big mobs.
20 boys inside will still get the bonus attack for at least 1 CC if you can soak up the overwatch otherwise.

Or just change the nobs + pikk up to nobbikers because that nob pikk up will blow up fast anyway.

Blackie- not a huge fan of tankbustas, plus don't have the models. Took the power klaws to make that unit as nasty as possible, and dont have a warboss with a klaw (although that's not a bad idea). I just always liked big shootas on slugga boyz, dont know why aside from something to do on their way in.

Grotrebel- warboss big mek and nobz all ride together in the same trukk, so that helps the fire magnet problem a bit. Thought about ditching a couple rokkits bit thats my ONLY ranged AT so im hesitant. Might be worth it though given the nature of running orks.

I'd drop two of the power klaws from the nobs and put the points into a nob with waagh banner. I cannot stress the joy of hitting on 2's with giant mobs of ork boys...

I'd lose the big shootas and rokkits. You can't shoot out of vehicles and ork accuracy is notoriously bad. You're going to be rushing forwards and assaulting early if I'm not mistaken. That means those weapons become a hinderance in combat. Some burnas in the units might be a better idea.

You can shoot out of vehicles. Only exception is the closed battle waggon and the Orkanaut.

Not sure about the banner with trukk mobs since you need to daisy chain around and survive overwatch + chain will cost you some attacks.
An option for the nobs + warboss though, but with speed freaks a would go for as many models as possible.

Where does it say you can shoot out of vehicles? I think I've missed that!

The banner goes in a trukk with a bunch of boys. You hop out, advance everything. Trukks charge first to take the brunt of shooting, boys then charge. leaving 2-3 orks out of combat in order to take advantage of the banner is well worth it.

Open topped vehicles allow the unit embarked to fire their weapons. Tankbustas, lootas, flash gitz and other shooty units usually fire while being safe in their transports.

I run nobs in truck alot use the ammo runts for the cheap daisy chain back to the waggbanner!

yes skorchas are the way to go! BC over Pwr Kls has been better for me, but if its 2+ WS then take the killsaw/klaw every time. GAZKUL is too good not to take

I am fully aware of how terrible ork shooting is, thats why witj the big shootas and rokkits I took as many as I could- ACCURACY BY VOLUME!!!!

Uhhh yeah, hitting on 2s does sound rather glorious, I'll have to check if I still have a banner kicking around
