So I got to building the Primaris Librarian yesterday, and I'm having a hell of a time getting the big cables on the side of the mini (the ones that go from the psychic hood to his backpack under his arms) to work.

They are "supposed" to look like one end plugs into the psychic hood and the other into the backpack. But there's nowhere on the psychic hood that they would mate to - there's no "port" or flat space against which the cable ends would sit. So they just kind of abruptly terminate, and look janky. In general, the librarian has been the worst of the Primaris range from the build standpoint... but the cables I just can't sort out at all. If you've built one, how did you attach the cables?

Don't be silly, those are his Noodles, and like all Noodles they sit under the arms. Even GW agrees: https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Primaris-Space-Marines-Librarian-Epistolary

It's not very clear, but the "port" is actually molded to the end of the cable itself. It's even less obvious on the right side cable since they only bothered to put a small bit of the port on there as it's mostly covered by the shoulderpad. Best way to do it I found is to use plastic glue on the back socket only first, if you press it in firm the other end should be kinda next to where you're supposed to glue it down on the collar, then use a wee dab of superglue to affix that end.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal
