So I had to make a list for mate of mine who is used to playing orks in 40k to fill in the gap if we are odd numbers at a local tournament.
So I made this for him:
minisnatcher - Allegiance: Slaves To Darkness
Leaders
Chaos Sorcerer Lord On Manticore (200)
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
Chaos Sorcerer Lord (160)
- Runestaff
- Steed
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
Chaos Lord On Daemonic Mount (140)
- General
- Command Trait : Lord of Terror
- Artefact : Helm of the Oppressor
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
Units
5 x Chaos Knights (160)
-Chaos Glaives
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
5 x Chaos Knights (160)
-Chaos Glaives
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
10 x Chaos Knights (320)
-Chaos Glaives
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
5 x Chaos Knights (160)
-Chaos Glaives
- Mark of Chaos : Nurgle
Behemoths
Chaos Gargant (170)
Total: 1470/1500 Points
The idea is fast, hardhitting, buffing the knights. General gives -3 on battleshocks within 6" with his configuration. Knights give a -1. So that can get nasty especially vs elites that would not suffer from it with few casualties.
The giant is there for fun and to have an extra objective grabber in the battleplan where only heroes and behemoths can.
The tournament is considered to be small and friendly. Cheesy, and to competitive lists will be asked to make changes.
Khorne could be a better buff, but the wizards would not be able to use their auras. so i went for re-roll 1 to wound which seems superior to the other choices.
Any ideas? Tips?
