Lately, I have been travelling around the local area for fun and research. These are mostly small towns in rural parts of the state, but there are all sorts of fun things you run across while on the road. Of interest to this board are probably the following....
An M3 Sherman located at a small local park as a veterans memorial. It looks like an upgunned variant since this was a memorial to local soldiers in the Korean war.
Next we have this tank in front of a local VFW Post....
This looks like a Vietnam era M-60 Patton tank, but there was no plaque verifying any of the details. Instead it was just parked in the parking lot.
I am sure some of the experts on here can give me more details about these tanks. If you have run across some local tanks or other militaria, please add on to this thread.

We have a WW2 Pack Howitzer outside the VFW in my village. Town I used to work in had a 105 Howitzer and a Sherman in the park.

This T-34 is close to my old home in Sevastopol. Most Russian towns have a T-34 as WW2 monument. A few towns have a different tank such as a KV-1 or one of the IS series. Arkhangelsk though has probably the most unique tank memorial in Russia. It is a memorial to the Western invasion of Russia during the Civil War and consists of a captured British Mark V tank: Lugansk in the Donbass also has one.

In a nearby town, we have a Matilda on display (it's part of the local military museum). It's visible from the highway going past it (Singleton, NSW).
We used to have a ferret scout car INSIDE the local hobby store, but the owner (of the store AND the ferret) sold it off to a mob that does "tank rides" (but doesn't actually have any "tanks" for it).

Anybody who likes armored vehicles has to visit the Patton museum at least once. They have just about every armored vehicle that's ever existed on display in there.
