I guess it could be worse than having a pro-painting dad. I was lucky mine was even into models (which meant he helped me figure out tools and kinda/sorta painting).

He looks great and fits the army perfectly. I wonder if adding a new colour on his staff - maybe some bright purple or gold or something - might have helped him to stand out from the skeletons a bit more? It's just that he's a bit overshadowed in that photo by the banner.

Absolutely LOVE the look of these models.. also REAAAALLLY like the look of those bases. Are they 3d printed?

Also, as AWESOME as it is to do these for your son...get him in there learning to paint like Dad! Who knows? Maybe he'll teach you a thing or two!

Awesome stuff!

BLAH BLAH....blah.

Very nice, cohesive looking warband. Love the freehand banner.

I make the movement trays, including the flexible ones. ( http://www.winterdyne.com/3d-printed-products/ )

My lad's a bit young for it at the moment, but he did do this one, pretty much by himself: (He's 8)

Superb. The best part of this, is you are giving a part of yourself as the gift, which will make it timeless.
