Subject: So what happens if a model's toughness falls below 1?
So mortarion has the aura that gives things a -1 if they are within a certain distance. Now say a biovore shoots at him and misses and drops a spore mine. The spore has base T of 1 his aura reduces it to 0 would it just insta pop on a hit?

From 'Modifying Characteristics', page 175 of the main rulebook:
Note that, regardless of the source, characteristics of ‘-’ can never be modified, and the Strength, Toughness and Leadership characteristics of a model can never be modified below 1.
