Hey, I've hit a dead end with my Ork army, after painting a over 30 boys plus a few extras I've realised I actually don't like the colour skin I've been using ( Waagh flesh, warboss green, bel tan green wash, warboss again then skarsnik green.) do you guys have any ideas for either an alternative way of painting the green skin or a completely different colour (I like the idea of a more realstic yellowey green)
Thanks for the help

I have the lazy man's Ork skin to offer: Deathworld Forest washed brown, then washed black (see picture)
I think Ninjapirate raises a good point. While a wild mix may look off, a bit of variation in skin tone could look pretty cool.
Going with my approach, you could use different green base colors and then use the washes to tie them together, which should result in somewhat cohesive but still distinct skin tones.

Why is the rum always gone?
you could try castellan green > straken green > elysian green...I think those layered up should give you a nice "natural" olive-green skintone
alternatively, prime them white, and paint the skin with washes...a coat of cassandora yellow, then a coat or two of biel-tan green or athonian camoshade, or both, should give you a nice green skin, and it does the highlighting/shading for you
