Since i see lot of us waiting for something to change i ll suggest some changes i consider valid.


1) hq option on alpha skitarii cc buff.

2) lower cost on omnispec and data tether to 5 both

3) option to take datasmith as hq and elite same for enginseer.

4) Arc weapons to increase to str 7 below 18". Or equal change. Weapon ap -2 for all versions different shots ech.

5) destroyers lower cost or at least grav.

6) kataprhons 5+ invu or fnp for that cost else no more than 132 breachers and 150-180 destoyers.

7) plasma either 3/6 move or statinary shots or rapid 2/3 .

8) rustalkers infliltrators reduced cost or dunestrider (scout, run charge move +1+2+3). Or run charge.

9) radium jezz sniper with -1-2 ap and able to take as cheap balistarii.

10) some form of default abiloties on units. Default dunestrider or fnp or better invu or a better way to get cp s. The warlord trait with extra cps as default on ad mech army or make it for battleforged armies giving a chance on 6 s to generate cp. Or give chance on 6 s not to loose a cp. Armywide to be able to depend on some cp s for versatile game play.

11) give lower costs options to be able to run more units in lists not only big unite for stratagem buffs. Could happem if stratagems worked for more units at once. Or work in specific slots like all fast units this turn etc.

12) different detachments?? More cp in default detachments? Better lower the cost for units.

So lets hear it people what would you suggest?

It's getting beyond a joke isnt it. We have the exact same thing but ours is a warlord trait but only works on a 6.

Their dogma is also a combination of 2 of the things we got separately...

At this point my guess is that: A:GW used admech as a test case to balance guard.

Or B: fires is close and there is going to be some pretty high level stuff in there. High enough that it would make making admech any more powerful a very bad idea.

Maybe Guard is going to have a point cost bump for all infantry. It would make sense then that the value-added will come from regiment rather than their stats.

Anyhow, as long as they don't get a -1 to hit regiment, I think we'll come out on top. Remember, it's hyperselection. If our best dogma is better than their best regiment, then we have the better value-add.

That is true and our best units we want to keep at range how they have the ultimate add with their artillery: no line of sight needed... even if that's situational

They cant see this working on guard and not in ad mech. I dont understand. They know the issues they just dont work as they did other armies thats it.

Nothing so far to adress the issues we had some time now. Was not luck to have dunestrider. No luck we had fnp 2 wounds on sergeants invu and suddently nothing for 8th. Canticles more stable but nerfed. Auras buffs all nerfed and still missing many abilities new units etc. I really dont get it and now guard with 10+ cps more and more gems proper ffs.

The cynical side of me thinks GW is making really good regiments to sell more models. WYSIWYG may be much stricter for Guard because unique models exist for each regiment.

Its not about being stronger or winning everything. Its the overall performance. You can take any unit combine it play fun competitive with all units. They work well all got a role even tanks and artillery are improved. Its a codex everyone can use.

Good army well played and frankly why woould you play solo ad mech after a codex like thar imperium. Its practically impossible not to take guard if we domt see at least same of not better chanhes for our codex.

It's true that having access to more playstyles would be fun. Right now, AdMech is just artillery with screening/skirmishing.

But unless they give us bubble shields or some "taunt" mechanic, our infantry our just too fragile and too pricey to be useful. Hell, even MEQs find themselves in an awkward spot.

As a Ork player waiting for their codex I feel sad for admech. Now you all know how we have felt for last few editions! Our index and codex always felt rushed and left until the last minute. Hell, some our units are weaker, have less wounds and high BS but cost more points than the other factions alternative! It's crazy! If I werd you guys I'd unit to write your own codex.

I could see a usage in Graia breachers as screeners. Or balistarii stygia. Or even rangers. But

Kataphrons need a buff or reduced cost. Or better weapon or better ws. Or something for 140 points. We could use some units but each time i try to use anything there a better cheaper inside imperium.

No options and even if i try to fit and play with dogmas and gems to make it happen the tax is beyond. Beyond 70 cheap fast unit. 100+ each heavy our only choise. Troops bad and expensive hq ?? Why dominus 135 poimts? Why no melee buff .

Rustalkers a reserve ability deep strike or enemy line inf? Something wasted. Dunestrider anywhere. Relentles anywhere.

We cant decide where to spend cp first while all other armies got default transports floerd everuthing and gems to customize diff playstyles?

Where is the broken unitd they afraid to give something to ad mech. And its not so hard to make it happen with all those gems. Come on. A relic 5+ cps would do it. A lower cost some guns revised arc weapons. Default abilities simple things. Two rounds juice thats it if lucky. Not even a reroll for an army filled with d6 variatios so much for so random results.


Try identify some issues so we can at least see what we can adress with other options.

1) lower kataphron points.
2) some wewpons revamped. Like arc jezz on both striders with some _ap
3) more bigger troops with better defence
4) some basic abilities like dunestrider on a few units.??

I didnt post nothing for the last years . I was waiting the codex to make skitarii cult one army.

Didmt demand nothing i knew war convo was a limited broken issue butt it was obvious to all players that even with free relics free 400-600 points the war convo was hard to compete.

You had to play inqui coteaz bunkers conclave to even have a chance. Trully hard to play and compete to come on top.

When they announcd the new edition i was exited as the rest . And all armies all from orcs to forgoten slaneesh got a meaning.

Iv read like 6 armies and all have options all units play all units got a role.

Adeptus mechanicus changed foundamentaly. The versatile army you could alter inside the changing from melee to range the options we had on board was eliminated.

Now all armies got stratagems. Giving them that exact versatile options we had as an army.

This goes beyond an overcost army.
We domt have transports
We dont have psychers
We dont have toughness
We dont hve mobility
We got zero screener
Zero cc buff
Zero strat than pure dakka wall and that one option. Cawl robots.

We know our weakness even if its represented from high point on models or non existant strats. I was more in favor not to get a transport but return some form of dunestrider in our army.

Its not real to ask players to pay for nothing new. Nothing they nerfed this army to a point its not recognisable.

Codex. Codex design team altered this. 30 gems to give back some flavor. They know this its obvious from the gemd they released. Some issues like cheap hq where extremely important and they made enginseer hq??? Dead w8

Now i ll say they where thinking properly with tne codex but its not even close to playable.

Its selling models and in a bad way. You like priests then either you take them stock and suck or if you take them 20 you gotta play only priests. Buy models buy codex buy cards buy enginseers troops bla bla to play one group.

All buff work for a single huge unit from robots to knights to troops and hq its just so expensive and incredible hard to bring in a list.

You cant make lists to produce gem enough to play even the strat you make. 3 cp for a second atta on priest for 2 att each??

2 for mars 1 for each deep strike/mobility bla bla you spend in an army with huge units and tax troops hq with low detachment options(1spearhead prior to codex) and a codex full of gems.

Its a joke. Adreesing issuex with gems ok

So what? To see 12 warlord traits for taking one??

Its moacking its a pimp design to get 20 index 40 codex buy max units for your army so you get another faq afterwards to fix this crap.

When they sell enough they ll go oh relics cn taken from all chars that why all guns.
Oh cheap skitarii hq datasmith hq reduce 10-20 poimt cost .take dunestrider here there done.
Its done. No this is a hobby game you first respect community give the option for some not so rich to play then we all support.

We pay plstic you respect that and not market in my face nothing new for a codex on of the same. Im not a donkey. And imsure dont have to prove thismstuoid design tesm im not.

I m player i always try to increase community in my country.

I participate in all mjor groupsmin Greece and all major event.

I never gonna ask stupidity in a game or cheating nor suport it or encourage stupid play.

And i really got no personal issue . I ll play marines ill play guard no problem we got 10 armies i dont care . What i do care is moacking. This game is community based its hobby. I do not tolerate this crap and then see parrots praise this crap.

Review saying lots of value in codex. Thats payed review and i dont like it one d bit.

That said i dont like to see an army being set aside. And adeptus mechanicus is a major part in imperium just to see them as single detachments in other imperium armies. Thats it. You wikl do ntothing serious with a adeptus list army.
Wanna see value go read astra militarum. Units options fixed broken add rest of units like ogryns taking wound like bodyguards etc etc thats value true valie a book to rread play your army.

The codex gives all options via stratagems. Our army cant make more then 9 and thats max gimped. Even if the codex gave options we cant effectively apply on detachments.

Gems benefit big units cost prohibit is fileding more than 1,5 strategic units and thas with dragoons low cost. Anything else wont fit.

Enginseer dead weight troops dead weight etc.
