Hiya,

I have decided to make a Consecrators force as I like the fluff I have assembled a collection of parts and will be regularly updating as I complete each model. Once I've run out of bits I'll move onto the painting

"What is our quest? To purge our shame through the death of those who turned from the Lion."
— Consecrators Interrogator-Chaplain

The Chapter's first appearance is in the works of the field notary Corwen Quilp, in his account of the Second Kuppukin Schism.
At the height of this terrible war, Loyalist forces were surrounded within the Sanctum of Silence by a screaming sea of Renegades, mutants and Traitors, when the entire Consecrators Chapter deployed at Chapter strength with no warning whatsoever.
The Adeptus Astartes wiped out the schismatists' entire high command structure, and left the Traitor horde as little more than broken, twisted corpses.

Though his descriptions are vague, Quilp is very specific about one element of the Consecrators' appearance -- he noted that the brethren of this Chapter bore all manner of sacred relics, and used the most ancient patterns of Imperial Power Armour, weaponry and vehicles. It was as if, Quilp commented, the Consecrators had inherited the most revered arms of the ancient I Legion, preserving them lovingly, and bearing them down the ages against the foes of the Lion and the Emperor of Mankind.

So, first of all, we have a Cataphractii captain, with a new sight for his gun and some purity seals, longer chainfist, iron halo, and shoulder pad smoothed out for a waterslide decal of the consecrators logo. I tried to make a consecrators logo for the shoulder but couldn't get it right :(

Next we have a techmarine with bits from anvil industries, shapeways shoulder pad and various kits like a grey knight head with the sigil filled in

Those are so cool. Great looking units! If only 4 weapon arms on a Dread was legal.

Cheers

I may have gone overboard on the shoulder pads from Shapeways. I bought 50 already and just ordered 60 more as shoulder emblems I'll end up with the whole chapter at this rate!!!!!!!

So i decided to rescue some classic tanks from ebay for my chapter.

Came all blood raveny and badly put together :O

So after 3 days of Dettol soaking and scrubbing I could get the metal bits of the plastic and dump them in acetone and start cleaning up and fixing the plastic hulls.
