Hello fellow Dakka members! I've been frequenting this site on and off for a long time but have been especially hooked since the previews for 8th edition started trickling in. I started playing 40k back in 3rd edition with friends and family and we got really competitive around 3.5 (lash of submission daemon prince, plague marines, and oblits yuck). After chaos grew stagnant we took a long break and played casually as the editions came and went. 8th had me very excited and Dakka has been a fantastic resource for news, updates, and list building. I mostly play Death Guard now but I also have Elder, Nids, Black Legion, Dark Angels, and a rickety old Tomb Kings army.

I hope to add to the discussions here since I've already taken a great deal of info for my own lists and painting / modeling in the past. I'll be adding photos of my army as I complete the units.
