Custom built kit bash from a GI Joe Dragonhawk into a 28mm Dropship with detachable drop pod.
Table ready - Fully painted and weathered.
* Standing figures (leading edge 28mm) are shown for size only and are not included.
The Pilot and co-pilot (two figures in 1/48 scale) in the detailed cockpit are included.

This is a big model. I designed the detachable Drop Pod with the thought that a full mechanized infantry platoon with all their vehicles could be transported from space. The Drop Pod is held in place with actual magnets while being transported under the ship. Upon landing the Dropship can detach and provide fire support from the air.

The Drop Pod was built using sheet plastic around a block of Styrofoam with two side doors, two upper hatchs, and full bay doors at both ends. The doors are fixed in place and do not open. The Drop Pod is very solidly built.

The Dropship is over 20 inches long, 18 inches wide, and 8.5 inches tall
The Drop pod is 10.75 inches long, 5.5 inches wide, and 4.25inches tall (box itself 3.25 tall).

I’m asking you to pick up the first $25.00 of the safe shipping and insurance cost.

WWIII in the 80’s book collection

Nuclear War in the 1980’s by Christopher Chant and Ian Hogg
an in-depth look at the nuclear arsenals of the major powers - the U.S., U.S.S.R, United Kingdom, France, and China - and their composition - bombers, ICBMs, submarines, etc. There are sections on nuclear proliferation, likely scenarios that might spark a nuclear conflagration, and the effects of new nuclear weapons, such as neutron bombs. Excellent graphics and maps.

First Clash combat close up in World War Three– Kenneth Mackey - medium sized mass market Paperback

Weapons of World War 3 – William J. Koenig – 1981 hardbound w/dust jacket – coffee table book.

The Third World War August 1985 General sir John Hackett. - hardbound w/dust jacket
