So I got my three beloved cerastus knights and I'm kind of sad they got seemingly overlooked in the latest Update for the Imperial knights in form of the codex mechanicum.

As I understand it they lack the “questor mechanicum“ keyword and thus cant benefit from any special rules in the dex.

My question is: does anybody know if there will be another Codex: Imperial Knights? And will forge world maybe release some updated books?

There's a lot of forge world units that mysteriously didn't get rules updates, at least for orks.

And while there will almost certainly be a codex: imperial knights, it will almost certainly NOT include forge world models.

As to when FW will update their rules - the answer is, as ever, 'maybe, if they feel like it'.

Probably the best hope for such forgotten units is an update via the warhammer community, but who knows when/if that will happen.

In the meantime, proxy them as something else.

As FW units they were never going to get updated in the main line Codex, you need to wait for the next FW book. And if you dont have it, get the FW Index that has them.
