Almost all blogs and forum threads suggest jeweler chain but to be frank, it all ends up looking a little weedy to me. I'll be using on both my Ork and CSM builds and would prefer something quite a bit more beefy. The injection molded stuff that comes with 40k mini kits is perfect. Anyone have a source for that scale and style that isn't GW?

If you don't mind going outside of the wargaming realm, there's a company that does mostly model train stuff called Micro Mark.

They have a small range of linked chains that you can find here: https://www.micromark.com/Miniature-Chain-for-Model-Work

I'd suggest size E based on the conversion from inches to mm. That would put you fairly close to 40k style scale.

Hope that helps some.

God bless you!
