Good list, but I'd make the Termagaunts part of the kronos detatchment as they don't benefit from the malanthropes aura if they are behemoth.



Or rather since you need a third troop choice. Get some rippers instead. This lets you deep strike them onto a far off objective turn 3 or whenever you need a score (from maelstrom). Rippers have a strat that lets them give -1 leadership if within 6" also, so you have a bit more flexability with them.


Oh and don't forget to use your spore mine strat to give yourself some screening spore mines at the start of the game around your kronos detatchment.

I second the idea of moving the Termagaunts to the Kronos Detachment.
You have to pay for the spore Mines, so that isn't viable.

I'd swap at least one unit of Hive Guard for Biovores. That would provide some better coverage in target types.

I have 7 units that are already deepstriking so I need at least 7 units that arent deepstriking.
If I replace the Termagaunts with Rippers they wouldnt be benefitting from their main ability (deepstriking) due to the restriction of maximum half your units can deepstrike.

The Termagaunt unit is just a cheap troop to fill up the Behemoth Battalion condition so I cant put it in the Kronos detachment without losing 3 CP.

how are Biovores fairing against Hive guards? I feel the hive guard does better overall but I might be underestimating the biovores.
