Another mini down for the tourny this weekend! Using this fella for a Dark Apostle, "inspiring" my forces. I love this little fat whippy guy from the AoS starter set, and with a quick head and arm swap, he channels a bit of the Butcher from Diablo.
Head is from a Ghoul King I had kicking around with some Tzaangor horns.

The figure is splendidly painted. The OSL is subtle and the color choices and blending is well executed. I think the base is overdone and detracts some from the overall piece (unless your display board is a charnel house)

Very cool, i like the demonic overseer look you got going, and that butcher feel like you said. The pose, head and whips all work together makes it look like a snap shot in time.Great.
