Hi so I'm currently working on a Khorne themed army and just wanted to know this idea I had for my Daemon Prince would be allowed based on the fluff.
Ok so my Daemon Prince is called Masengro (the Romani word for "Butcher") and this is to do with his sword. So as we all know most champions and greater demons can wield weapons that have a demon sealed within them. This is sometimes by choice but it can also be the result mortals trying to bind them, imprison them or as punishment from their own deity if their in that kind of mood. But is it possible for a servant of say Khorne to wield a blade that has a Keeper of Secrets sealed within it if the circumstances were right?
To give the backstory, Masengro was summoned by Khorne to be part of a force intended battle a host of Slaanesh's demons. During the battle Masengro is separated from his unit, he is forced to face a large group of lesser demons lead by a Keeper of Secretes called "The Silent Shouter". Silent Shouter sends it's horde in to deal with the deamon prince but Masengro is able to butcher them all. Surprised that the "lowly prince of Khorne" didn't become the plaything of it's troops, Silent Shouter reluctantly engages Masengro in single combat, no out of fear but because it's got better things to do. While Masengro holds his ground, its clear that the Greater Daemon has the edge in raw power. Growing tired of the "game", Silent Shouter utilises the power that earned it that name. It unleashes a powerful blast of completely silent sound which shatters Masengro's blade. Silent Shouter then falls upon the prince, pinning him down, lashing him with it's wipe and makes beautiful but not fatal cuts with its blade. Humiliated and mocked, Masengro's rage boils and with it so dose the power the blood god granted him. Silent Shouter becomes intoxicated with the feeling of humiliating it's foe and in this moment of ecstasy it makes a fatal error, it's grip slackens ever so slightly.
In that moment Masengro's fury erupt like a volcano and with all his strength he wrenches his sword arm free, still clutching the broken blade, and slams it into the Greater Demons chest. The force of the unexpected blow sends Silent Shouter toppling backwards, writhing in pure agony as the energies of Khorne seep into It. In a flash Masengro rises and leaps upon his hated enemy, both hands coming down on the hilt of his blade, driving it deeper. He pushs with all his might, oblivious to his wounds or Greater Demon's attempts to dislodge him. But as his rage burns brighter he suddenly feels a presence...a presence he knows all to well...and a fury that eclipses his own as a star would a match. Khorne's eye was upon him. The Silent Shouter had been an irritating thorn of late, it had made sport of a number of the Lord of Murders champions and while Khorne dose not care from were the blood flows, he despised the slow torture/pleasure that had been inflicted upon his servants by the Greater Demon. In the time it takes for a mortal heart to beat, a idea occurred to Khorne. A way to punish The Silent Shouter and his master for their transgression and reward his champion in a single stroke.
Khorne's power seeped into Masengro like a tsunami of boiling blood and molten brass. The broken blade in his hands began to glow with dark heat. The blood from his wounds flowed down Masengro 's hands and hissed as it made contact with the burning metal...but it did not evaporate?! Instead the blood as well as the iron and bronze within it solidified. The blade was being reforged with Masengro's own blood and metal as the raw martials and Khorne's power and rage as the hammer and forge. But Masengro essence was not the only thing being used in the swords remaking. As the blade become whole Silent Shouter seemed to wither with every passing moment. The was no was sign of pain on the greater demons face, no pleasure...only a look of abject horror as its essence was being drawn into the sword. Time passes strangely in the warp, to some this event could have taken seconds, to others days and others years but as is also the nature of the warp it did pass...and with it comes change.
Masengro , blooded but newly invigorated stood tall and looked at the gift his master had seen fit to grant him. A mighty demonic blade. There was a faint purple shin to it when it caught the light but this was always overshadowed violent energies that seeped from it. Khorne had crafted a fitting cage for Silent Singer. A prison that denied it the excesses is craved, drowning away all sensation in the red haze of Khorne's hate. In its horror and disappear the Greater Demon howled a single, monotones wale that reverberated endlessly throughout its cell. Masengro swung the vibrating blade and it seemed slash a wound in the air itself. He then looked about, saw that the battle still raged and without hesitation he charged headlong into the melee, his new blade "Silent Shouter" held high.
So dose that sound plausible?
