With the new year I've decided to start a new project: Squats.

The idea is a Squat Heavy Infantry Brotherhood that will "count as" Space Marines.

The first parts have started arriving and more are on the way, but I've only completed 2 out of many Squats and I'm very much so still open to painting and modelling suggestions, especially if any of you know of any cool bitz sources I might have missed.

Here is what I have made so far:

My very first Squat! One of my Rangers; young beardlings that haven't gotten their own exo-armor yet. Counts as a Space Marine Scout with a Bolter.


Squat #2, another Ranger, this one with a Heavy Bolter (Guardsman for scale).


I really wanted to see what they'd look like with paint, so I rushed through to this:


So what do you think Dakka? Adequately Squat?

More parts have arrived and I've had a bit more time, so Squats have started appearing.

First the rest of the scout squad I started:


Then a couple of proper Squat heroes:
