Just wanted to say hi! Been looking for some likeminded people to chat with and am looking forward to meeting you.

I have a question as well, so any help would be great. I'm not too familiar with the forum yet, but hopefully, I'll get used to it soon.

My questions involve packaging and making custom cases. A friend of mine told me that he uses something called pick n pluck foam https://www.gbfoamdirect.co.uk/, which he gets from here. Basically, it's a foam tray that has removable cubes, meaning you can make it to your desired size. has anybody used this before? If so, is it any good? What would you suggest if not? THANKS!

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

Hello and welcome to Dakka!

I'm not familiar with the manufacturer you linked to, but I'm familiar with pluck foam in general. It can be very good, especially if your models have parts sticking out or an otherwise irregular shape. I'd recommend it for most armies, especially non-marine ones.
