I've been working on my HT today and after i finished a couple of the carapace plates, i sat back and wondered if red was a good color choice.

I'd really appreciate your feedback on this and suggestions on what color you think might look good with this flesh color.

The wings are amazing, I think a blueish purple fading to near black would work pretty well for the carapace

Your flesh/wings looks great, but I feel the carapace needs a bit more contrast. My level of painting isn't near yours so not sure what I could suggest. I do like the purple to black idea given above, but can't suggest paints.
